Become a Christian

The most important thing we can do is share our faith in our Savior, Jesus Christ. Our hopes and prayers are that, whether this is your very first visit to our website or your one hundredth, you have noticed one thing: that Jesus is the center of and the reason for everything we do.

Why?

Because God loves and cares for us so much that He sent His son, Jesus, to die on the cross as payment for our sins to arise three days later and ascend to Heaven. You see, Jesus didn't just die. He arose and is now alive and living in the hearts of those who have accepted Him as their Lord and Savior. Jesus wants you to experience the abundant life that only He can give. No greater sacrifice has ever been made...and it was made for you!

The greatest thing about salvation is that it is free for anyone who asks. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13 No matter who you are, where you have been, or what you have done Jesus wants to be your Lord, your Savior, and your friend.


How Do You Become a Christian?

First you must recognize and accept that you are a sinner:
"For all have sinned, and come short of the Glory of God." Romans 3:23

Second, you must realize that the penalty of your sin is death:
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

Next, You must receive God's gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord:
"But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16

And last, you must be willing to publicly confess Jesus as your Lord and Savior:
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believes and with thy mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9,10

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner in need of your forgiveness. I believe in you and that you died for my sins. I now invite you into my heart and my life as my Savior. I will choose to serve you alone for the rest of my life. Thank you for saving me.
